Nooit meer heilig
(from the mind of two twisted teenagers)
Mijn voetstappen klinken hol in de schijnbaar lege kerk. Ik snuif de muffe kerklucht op. Plots klinkt er een gil. Ik draai me om, maar dan besef ik dat het een herinnering is. Vreselijke beelden verschijnen op mijn netvlies: zijn handen zijn overal. De pijn is ondraaglijk. Ik probeer te vluchten maar het gaat niet, het lukt niet.
Nee, ik wil hier niet meer aan terugdenken. Langzaam vervolg ik mijn weg om deze gedachten voorgoed uit mijn hoofd te bannen. Mijn woede leidt me naar de biechtstoel. Achter het gesloten gordijn zit de pastoor, de zogenaamd heilige persoon. De man die me zo lang gemarteld heeft, die mijn kinderlijke onschuld heeft aangetast. Hij heeft me gemaakt tot wat ik nu ben. Hij zal boeten.
Met een ruk trek ik het gordijntje open. Hij kijkt me verbaasd aan, dan herkent hij me. Zijn blik verandert, de ogen die me zo vaak begluurd hebben Ik wil niet dat hij zo kijkt. Ik omklem het mes, hij mag nooit meer zien. Ik steek. Hij schreeuwt. Ik zie zijn lege oogkassen, ik kijk weg.
Zijn handen! Die betastende handen, ze zullen me nooit meer aanraken. Weer sla ik toe. Bloedend valt hij op de kille kerkvloer. Ik kijk op hem neer, zonder medelijden. De man die me zo gepijnigd heeft, ligt daar nu zo hulpeloos. Toch ga ik verder…
Langzaam loop ik naar het wijwatervat. Ik draag de ogen, handen en het geslacht van de pastoor met me mee. De handen lijken me te willen grijpen als ik ze in het water leg. Ze zullen mijn wraak onthouden.
In een doodse stilte wandel ik de nacht in, verlangend naar meer…Ze zullen allemaal boeten.
